Presentation at
Metadrost is an enamel metal sign,
designed on the occasion of the annual premie for Galerie De Ziener, and was fabricated at Emaillerie Belge, Brussels.
For the design, Elke was inspired by the old commercial of Droste's Cacao.
This visual effect Droste applied
on there packaging,
where a picture recursively appears within itself, was named later
the Droste-effect.
The addition of 'Meta' emphasizes this effect for 'Meta, means
it's self-referring.
